I originally went to the paint shop asking for 7500 or 8500 clear and the old time paint tech said they dont make it anymor, but out of the three nason urethane clears on the shelf, the spot clear was a step and a half better than the others and as close to the 7500 as he thinks he could get. He was dead set against clearing over the AE but i wanted a bit more shine without starting over, and the added material for sanding and better color protection are a bonus. We are very pleased how its looking, it's easily as nice as a new car base coat clear coat (which isnt saying a lot). Again, it looks great now, with wetsanding and buffing i think it will be a great show finish. We are wetting the floor but our fan leaves some to be desired, doesnt move that much air. Also, we were mixing wrong (4:1:1 instead of 8:1:2) but its been laying so nice we're sticking with it. using centari paint, nason hardner, nason clear.
