Just a quick update. Apparently the CANBUS doesn't like two scanners plugged in at once (gauges & handheld scan tool). So, don't rewire anything yet. I'm still doing some research to see if there is a work-around for this, but as of right now, having the OBDII port unblocked provides no benefit....
