The wheel you have IS A Cragar wheel and is their knock-off of the Centerline Champ 500. They came in only a couple of sizes....the most popular was the 15X8.5 ones that looks like yours.
In the back of the wheel this should be stamped.
I have two of these wheels for my '80 SE Trans Am and have been searching for 2 more for over 2 years now.
And you may or may not have got took by your buddy....I gave $50 for the pair I have, but I have seen whole sets sell for $200-$375 lately.
Also Progressive Wheels (no longer in business) made/copied this wheel for a very short period in the early 80's.....but I have only found one of those...and it was cracked. |
I think those came stock on my 76 vette, but keep in mind i was Born in 82
