Thanks Burgerman, I don't have brackets yet, That last picture was me just holding it in place. I'm going to pick up some 3/8" steel plate and make mine out of that. I'll post the drawings out so everyone can make their own if they wanted to. But I like where whitedog76 is going. When you make your on, you shouldn't have to worry about what thickness metal you need. It'll fit just the same with 1/4" or 3/8".

Anyone else think it's interesting that they had tapered roller bearing standard in 1936 on the rear axle, but kept the front axle the same with normal bearings?
