I would suggest moving the sb engine stands back a set of holes on the frame, (give you 2 1/2" setback). You will need to drill the bottom hole on ea side. a set of carshop inc. 1" setback plates #CSP2370, @ $59.99, should set you as close to the stock firewall as you will want to go? Prothane #7-509 mounts ,will work with that ($86.99 through Jegs). You can also slot the engine stands & the trans crossmember, to give a little adjustment , as needed. On my app, I did include a set of Moroso engine mount shims...about $40, through a local speed shop. Down on the 4 th or 5th page, there are pics of my swap, that will show how close the engine fits in I 6 spot, but 1" forward (where I am trying to set you, by moving the sb stands rearward).
