Thanks. Yea I know about the bar and I'm just at the point of accumulating parts first. My focus at the moment is on the spindles and if I need to notch the frame. My grandfather's 67 is lowered but because of his stroke he can't remember what drop he did at the spindle and springs.
I think you're right tho about the 2.5. I might be getting my hands on a 70 suburban too so if it isn't low enough I can put it on that instead.
My goal with the truck is to be a road/track truck. If I'm comfortable with the suspension then I might auto cross it as well. That being said... I'm trying to get the max out of my spindles first as a good foundation.
Any particular brand? I've been looking at Hotchkis
