To get the engine and transmission located correctly I had to align the engine and transmission to the center of the frame. Since the previous engine mounts were welded in place I had to remove them by grinding them off and weld new perches in place so I could bolt the new engine mounts on. This makes it easier to replace in the future. Also, the addition of a longer transmission (4L60E) means that the transmission cross-member needed to be moved backward. This video shows all the work that was done to get the engine and transmission in place.
