I THINK if your using the column, then in fact, you may be correct. Unfortunately, I can't verify that first hand, as the trucks use VATS differently than the f-bodies did (where you can actually manipulate it), and I've never pulled a complete harness from a truck to try it.

Please be careful with the airbag on the that column tho dude! I don't want your first-start to result in a concussion from the drivers seat lol.
