Well I was losing sleep over the grungy dash stuff.
You wouldn't have respected me if I didn't. Before I can sleep well, every wiring harness has to be cleaned and inspected. Everything behind the dash has to be fussed over. All screws and clips. Everything clean, clean, clean.
So I ripped it all out. .
There are standing piles of dirt on every flat surface.
