First step is to remove the drums. The only things holding the drum to the hub are two screws, you can see them in the second picture, at 12:00 and about 5:00. I couldn't remove mine, a drill made short work of that.
The rotors we'll be using sit on larger lugs. We can increase the size of the lugs to 9/16 and still have the original wheels fit. Now the shank of the new stud won't fit in the original hub, so you'll need a 19/32 bit to make it fit. Don't worry about these odd size of the bit. Even Home Depot carries them.
After that, I suggest cleaning and painting the hubs. It's not that much extra work, and it makes them look 100 times better.
