Not to hijack but I was going to ask about exterior too, my Chevelle may have to winter outside this year....
I do know that blue/grey tarps will scratch and hold in condensation... I use old sheets inside to cover mine keeps the dust off and breathes, but we have relatively low humidity here in the high desert.
