He may in fact be able to set you up with somtheing worth while and help with parts in the process---but here tell he is moving to Alaska so you better catch him before he heads north.
In Ky a well rusted but running blazer might bring $1500. From my point of view, the body is everything. That and the originality of piece/parts as they get real expensive--trim,seats, seatbelts, hatch, top, windshield surround, inner rockers, etc.
