Les, the 5.75/7.75 Rear doesn't sound that bad to me. There is a guy or two over at Stovebolt that could actually figure that out for you. If you tell them the Ratio and Tire Size they can work out the math to figure out a pretty acurate MPH in 5th High.

5.75 hi range with a direct 1:1 5th gear and 9.00x 20's (I assume) which are about 39.2 inches in diameter and 3000 rpms is right at 60 mph. now if you were to run 10.00 x 20 at the same rpm would get you 62.75 mph
now to cruise at 65mph with 900x20's 5.75 hi range in 5th (direct) you would have to hold 3200 rpm.
