There have been a couple different alternators on the truck during the build, bit this final one is from Powermaster, and it came from the manufacturer with the black finish already added. I agree, it looks good!

Take a look at that same pic that shows the hoses going through the inner fender - the A/C drier is also located under there, towards the front of the truck. Lots of space in these wheel wells for all sorts of stuff!
