CPP C10 control arms 63-72

New uppers and lowers with cross shafts. Wasn't to impressed with the a-arms... should have sent them back right away, to late now. And I ordered Porterbuilt control arms already so these got to go!

$400 shipped

I pressed the ball joints in the lowers and deburr the sharp edges and knock the bb's off. I used Moog K6023 lower ball joints in them. They have the straight knurls. I should have used ones without straight knurls (splines, ribs, whatever). I didn't think about how the slightly larger ball joint would fit into a new a-arm... it was a little tight but the first one seated with only a couple extra feet of pipe on my ratchet (for the ball joint press) and I paid lots of attention and didn't see any warping or distortion of the control arm. The second a-arm had a smaller hole for the ball joint to go into. So I used my digital calipers and dremel with a emory roll and made the hole .020" smaller than the ball joint and the shop I had press it in, didn't mention any thing when I picked it up, so I assume it is all good.

I think I shortened the life of the control arms now, because I made the hole larger (like a worn out one would have). Some thing to consider.

Arms go for 200 and 280 incase you were going to look it up plus 75 shipping and 40 for the ball joints. $595

That's all I can think to say, I would rather over explain it to everyone than have some one interested waiting for me to reply with a question. Feel free to ask a question if you got one.
