That's a great build thread. When I first read it, I think I was just getting too much information and did not understand the modifications to the sbc stand. How's it holding up with time? I can understand why you wanted the engine lower with the sbc stands, but why didn't you want it moved forward? I would have thought that would help with clearance issues with the downpipe, and help to reduce heat transfer through the firewall?
