My travels to Disney took some time away, and and nice weekend of fishing this past weekend didn't help either, but I did get my exhaust finished up.
I, like a crazy person, ground down all of the welds on the exhaust to make a "seamless" look. What a kick in the head... Then I took it over to the powder coaters place to have him blast the entire kaboodle. Only cost me $21 dollars, (all the cash I had on hand)
After blasting, he let me borrow a corner of his shop where I painted the entire rig in black grill paint. Read a couple of reviews of people painting their exhaust with it and they seemed to be happy. Came home last night and put it all together. I used a rubber mallet on the V-band clamps like Calvin had suggested in an earlier post. They seem to have seated up nicely. Time will tell. I mentioned earlier that the trailing arm might hit. Not sure.
