won't have plates on the camper 'till next week, so we made a day trip up to Thunder lake today. weather was outstanding, low 70's.

back in the '60's, a big chunk of Johnson peak came down & buried the highway & valley. completely wiped out Outram lake...
the highway is any where from 160-280 ft below. also a couple of people still entombed in their cars....
not really surprising considering the size of some of the boulders that came down
