Emission fitting on poly tank?
I just successfully swapped in an MTS poly tank for my 1971 K20 Sub (and ditched the black sludge in the old tank!). The new tank come with two copper 'emission fittings' in addition to the vent pipe. What am I to do with these. As you know, the original tanks don't have such things.
Do people just plug them? If so, what do you use to plug them?
After filling the tank and driving around I noticed it still smells and I assume that is from these open valves.
