Already sitting at 7.5-8 MPG didn't think it could get much worse hahaha!!! Was told motor was freshly rebuilt no long ago and seems like it's in good shape. Maybe some Vortec heads and a cam might help.
Truck has 35's on it so maybe the 3.07 gear is just too much strain for the motor at 50+mph. I gotta put pedal through the floor to maintain speed

72 K5 4x4, 350(rebuilt stock w/edelbrock carb and manifold)/th350, 4"lift 35's, GM 10bolt rear(not thrilled)... Thinking I need some heads and a mild cam or maybe a 5.3!!
