I would think if its the TC, the noise most likely would be heard all the time....the noise is being heard at a specified road speed range. Correct ? Maybe a torrington bearing in the T400 is coming apart....just a thought. (planetary area) Drop the pan on the trans, maybe piece of the bearing in the pan along with a bit of metal... Good Luck.
