I have a 1" aluminum spacer/adapter (square bore carb to spread bore manifold) under the carb now. I will be replacing the carb with a Quadrajet as soon as it's finished being built for me along with the OEM manifold for an aluminum Edelbrock Performer. I got rid of the electric fuel pump for all the common reasons. I like the OEM mechanical better.
