we have a 76 K-10 4wd with a stock 70's 350 and a NV-3500 5 speed from a 2007 Silverado.
Hey Roundhouse. The later type A/C compressor can be used in the stock location by notching the front lower lip on the right side frame bracket that the clamshell mount attaches to. This applies only to 2WD trucks as I've not spent any time with a 4WD truck to be able to know what the differences are in that area. 4WD fitment validation has not been discussed here by management, so I don't know if or when that may happen. I'm suspecting that the only components in this system that would also fit a 4WD are the engine brackets and the headers; the trans crossmember and the exhaust systems will be a no-go.
