GM made a million of these trucks, and I still see cabs here in the junkyards that would be considered "rust free" outside of California. They are getting fewer and fewer as the years go by, but can still be found on CL and many other places. There will be a time however when these cabs will be reproduced, it's just a question of when. There is a completely restored 100% rust free cab on the parts board right now that is priced at about HALF of what a repro cab would cost (based on repro cab costs for other earlier year trucks) and not ONE person has stepped up to buy it. As I've watched that cab on the parts board not sell, I thought the same thing- if anyone from dynacorn is watching this they know that there is no demand for repop cabs yet. It is a very nice cab- hope he can sell it
