Donny, your truck is soooo gorgeous.

I am going to add in my opinion, but like belly buttons, everyone has one.

Have you purchased that smaller box already, and are you committed to it?

My personal take would be to have one custom folded, welded and then painted to match the arches.

Possibly to take up more of the space across the rear. Make it s a "quick release" type of floor mount, make sure you can open it fully without making contact with the rear of the bed. Then tuck in the actual bin section toward the cab, to maximise the space, otherwise you end up with "dead space" where you compensate for the lid opening.

I personally do not care for the diamond plate ally look. Rather flat steel or ally, folded and welded appropriately.
Two locks like the example, for added security.
I would also add in a cigarette lighter type power socket to the inside, in case you want to power something like a small cooler box in there..... OK, now I am going overboard.

Anyway, personal opinion...... You have put so much into the truck that a custom designed safe box would make a lot of sense, and look great.

Good luck figuring it all out.
