With a bad switch you really have no control over the functions per say. Since you previously repaired the motor, and trust your repair we will say that it's not at fault. Get a switch and plug it in to make sure that's the issue. To replace the switch you have to pull the column apart. Steering wheel, horn, turn signal switch, ignition switch have to come out. Than you can pull the switch out from its place. You'll have to move the bottom plastic collar up and remove the the plastic cover that runs up the column. Tie some string to the old harness and fish it out. Tie string to new harness and reverse procedure. If you've never had a column apart just go slow, you'll need a steering wheel puller and the big lock plate compressor.
