Well, tonight I tinkered with the S-10 for a bit. I had to remove the dash to access a center firewall grommet so that I could extend my ignition control harness like factory instead of drilling an extra hole. Then, I figured I might as well change the heater core-then the snowball started.....I noticed the ductwork seals were shot so I started making new foam seals-then while taking the ducting all apart, I seen the upper/lower dash blend door linkage was broken;this is awesome since finding a replacement will require completely dismantling another trucks' dash!
