My thoughts on that are basically that each pallet, (average pallet) can hold a total of like 2,000 pounds across the whole surface. If wood is layed on top, it'll help weight distribution among the pallet, and the pallet cross pieces will help keep the osb or plywood together.

For if I use jack stands or something, I'll be using a steel plate big enough to distribute the weight evenly to put the jack or Jack stand on.
