At that rpm all you're gonna be doing is shoving a ton of fuel through it. My big block, 3.73 gears and 265/75-16 (31'' tall) spins about 2600 on the freeway at...I think....60mph (speedo needs repair and calibration) I do have overdrive which pulls it down to about 2200
