When I post a truck for partout I get 20 calls for the rear bumper...they just rot out chrome or painted steel. Good news is if you get on ebay new ones are around 200 shipped with all new plastic pieces.
Brake lines are so common to go bad that GM released a service kit with all pre-bent coated lines after pressure from the NHTSA over the issue. We installed one of these kits on my Dad's Silverado, all the original OEM lines were toast, and that truck only had 100k miles.
