DAY 2 presented by No Limit Engineering

Day 2 of the Road Trip began with a slightly rainy drive through the beautiful Smokies. Whether you took the pre-planned scenic tour route or went on a side cruise through the famous Tail Of The Dragon, the scenery was spectacular and you undoubtedly had a great time!

The afternoon’s autocross was held at Smokies Stadium; we have to give props to the Road Trip staff and crew, because the course was very technical and extremely fun!! With sunny weather for the afternoon, over 400 laps were put in before the end of the autocross portion. The lucky winners of the anti-competition who had to put donations in the Winner’s Cup at the end of the day were: 3rd place, Erik Vandermey; 2nd place, Ryan Mathews; and 1st place, Sam Strano. The Winner’s Cup donations will be given to the Be The Match foundation at the end of the week, and it’s looking like it’s going to be a substantial amount!!

After the autocross, they took a short drive to No Limit Engineering for some awesome barbecue and a tour of his fantastic shop. Rob MacGregor has some really cool builds going on in his shop right now, and it was a real bonus to be treated to his humor and hospitality.
