Quadrajet Rebuild
Hey y'all. I have found the original carb that went to my truck. I am pretty sure it is the original anyway. It is stamped 7042210 QE 2381. A buddy of a buddy is rebuilding one for me as a favor but I would like to try it myself as well.
My question to y'all who have rebuilt your own is, would you do it again or pay to have it rebuilt? Also which rebuild kit did you go with?
They seem pretty common online and Autozone and O'Reilly seem to have a rebuild kit as well. Are they all pretty much the same?
