I am not really sure what the difference between a notch and c-section is. I just mis-understood what you said. Sorry bout that. I believe the notch in my truck is about 2" deep by about 4" long. Make sure you figure out exactly where to put it, at first mine was off by about a 1/2" and the rear hit it all the time. I used 1/4" thick steel to box it in on all sides. I made a U-piece by heating up the steel and bending it with a very large hammer and cut another piece to fill in the other side. I did the complete drop, front and rear, in two days. I did most of the work myself and occasionally had a friend over. Now that I look back on it, I am not sure what took so long.
