been off work last 2 days at home feeling like carp with a horrible cold.
today i decided to make myself feel better...lol
went for a drive up Harrison lake east FSR, it's only about 20 mins from my house, literally in our back yard, but i have'nt been up there since 1991. it's a beautiful area, but the yahoo's from Vancouver turn the whole area into a real gong show every weekend and all summer, so we just have'nt bothered going there in awhile..
last time we were there was in '91 with my then young wife in my '76 K5, we drove to Shovel creek road, which is a very remote back way into Nahatlatch valley. driving that road you go prepared, extremely rough, there is NO ONE around, no type of cell service, it would be a hurtin' place to break down...planning on going up there in a couple months once the snow lifts...
polaroid scan from 26 yrs ago....that blob in the foreground was my thumb..
down at Harrison lake before the FSR
let dawg out at the boat launch, yeah, it's a ferd, but not too bad...
