Seriously, I can't speak for the noico liner or the DEI, but that gaffers tape is tougher than a $2 steak. I was moto riding and a turn signal fell off, hanging by the wires--one of the guys who's a theater nut taped it back on with gaffer's tape. It stayed like that for months, and when I got around to fixing it--that tape was like a weld.
