Front frame horns ?

Hay Oh.

I am going with a different theme than most so bare with me..

!st does anyone have a side photo of a 1970-72 truck with the bumper off.. to see how far the frame horns are past the lower fender front edge..

I've been told that most if not all the front roll pans require the horns to be cut..
Now, because of my theme.. I plan on running a front rollpan with a lower lip. airdam/splitter molded into it.. And rather not cut the horns. but maybe form the rollpan so the horns come through it, and have a cross bar between them.(think most street rods) and bumperetts like a Shelby cobra covering the frame horn ends, making it look finished but have the look of a late 60's early 70's racer..
My theme is going to be 1970 Winston nascar truck series.. racer..
I think it be different and still look like a 70's truck and be able to run autocross/etc..

The whole Idea is so it looks the part of what was done back then. but I'll still be used on the street so no crazy camber and lowered but not so low that you can't drive it on the street. .not just in nascar but in general racing. clearly they didn't use trucks but if they did. kinda thing.. and not cutting the frame horns off..

These trucks are like Camaro's /mustangs/chevelles many show up at shows /cruises I want mine to look different.. and be able to race it.. autocross/ solo cross/ drag strip.. etc.. maybe even classic road racing events if they'd have a truck..
