Re: 1962 stepside project by realvc

Got a call Wednesday that all my stuff was ready to be picked up. Went over Thursday morning and got it all. He was able to turn the rotors, reface the flywheel and the pressure plate, replace the clutch material on the disc plus he sold me a new throw out bearing and a pilot bushing all for under $200.00 I am really pleased with how it all turned out.

Plus I spent almost an hour visiting with the shop owner about some of the cool stuff he has worked on over the years.

I got the heads and pan on the engine and masked it off and spray bombed it with Chevy orange. I can't remember the last time I had to torque some Chevy heads.

I got some other stuff cleaned and painted and sorted and was wore out by about 4:30 Friday. But I'm so blessed and really spoiled to have a heated place to work on my stuff as we are getting some cold weather now.

Today I've been making a list of other parts and pricing them on the net.

I will do an update with pictures soon.
