yes both guys have 5th gen pump, both said by my tank being just 8 1/2 in tall that 5th gen pumps was all I could use,4th gen was to long even if cut ,shortest it could be is 10in,if I did't have 500.00+ in my tank I would buy a tank, don't have money for that everything else fells,inline pump
