if your looking for 6.0s the lq9 is the one to look for...not cheap though...345hp
the lq4 6.0 has around 322hp...also not cheap
you would probably be cheaper and better off in the long run to look for a ls3 and tr6060 or tko600 combo....ls3 is 6.2 at 425hp...no need for a turbo on that...I bought a ls3 tr6060 for 6500...I was considering a 5.3 or 6.0 turbo but decided it was cheaper with what I got...
I personally prefer the dbc...but my ls3 has dbw and I'm going to use it that way
I think both steel and alum blocks are fine..biggest difference is the weight...both are built very strong..
