It looks like the axle is 5 degrees pointing up

Most drive trains slope down 3-5 degrees to the rear end.

When you give it gas the rear end will tilt up some

A driveline that is equal and opposite is what you want. Meaning axle pointing up 5 degrees with the other end pointing down 5 degrees. If one shaft is 0 to 0 that works too
