Have you tried threading the reverse light connector from the old transmission into the NV4500? I don’t know if that would work, but they sure look similar in the pictures.
That’s a bummer about the carpet. I used the rubber mat in mine and don’t regret it. I like being able to just sweep it out when it gets dirty.
