I tried to mount/ mock up the 4.8, the factory style 73-80 mounts didn't work ( motor side, not frame side). And I ordered about $1200 in parts. To include dirty dingo sliders, and a bunch of patch panels, new stainless brake lines, and cab rubber from GMCPauls, also deer season started today, so this might take a while. I should also mention, I have ZER0 bodywork experience, have only read about it, I can weld hoping I don't screw it up.

Would like to know what parts did you use to get motor install.
