Got a letter in the mail letting me know my tabs are due, which reminded me that I've had the truck for a bit over a year now! Blows my mind. I'm both farther along with it than I'd hoped, and not as far as I want. But it's sure been a blast so far!
Plans for the warmer weather this year, not necessarily to be done in this order.
- Fix the crooked bumper
- Get a camper shell/tonneau
- Sand down and paint with rustoleum the rusty spots in the bed
- Replace the cracked steering wheel
- Drop the aux tank, de-rust it, and re-plumb it
- Restore the bench seat. Or maybe at the very least, more firmly affix the current cover
- Replace the missing roof pad
- Get the wiper fluid working
- Fix transimssion pan leak
- Find the pesky small oil leak that's behind the engine somewhere
- Fresh door sills
- New radiator hoses
- Find a replacement matching hubcap (This is a fantasy, but I'm only missing one!)
