I would go with springs too. I had a similar problem and added 1" lift spacer and went with 2" smaller dia tires. Kept the stance and look and fixed the rubbing.

Problem is the rubber spacers settle over time. It gets a little lower and changes the toe-in and wears the tires. My suburban is also unlevel, not a lot and no one notices but me. Eventually I am going to replace the springs and ditch the spacers.
