Around here with smaller tracts, the combines get driven farm to farm, usually with a pickup leading with 4-ways on, getting people to pull over when needed.

No one had to look the other way, The Golden Road was a private, mostly dirt road from Millinocket to Canada for logging. Trucks did what they wanted and trucks always had the right of way, Private vehicles had to pay a toll. You were required to get out of their way. It's still there but now with the decline of logging, it's open to the public.
