I’ve been so busy with real life (flu, flooding, job responsibilities, etc) that I haven’t really had much shop time the last 2 weeks. But today was a productive shop day.
After some more cleaning and removal of pieces/parts that won’t be a part of the final product, I got around to actually working on Walter. I put him up on the lift and threw an angle finder on the tail shaft of the trans to realize I had 8 degrees down...that’s to much! So, I put the pole jack under the trans crossmember and raised the trans up until it hit the cab which only netted me 5-6 degrees. Which just means that the high hump will be used after all. In the process of doing all this, I found out that with the raising of the trans; the passenger side header now clears
