It really does take the clean firewall look a step further. I want to do it to my cab now that I see how uniform it can be. It really is the one spot that becomes problematic. The gained real estate in the back of the engine bay is not lost real estate in the foot well area inside the cab. Its a win win other than another day or so in the build process.
