Disregard the "disconnect the battery" rule before working on vehicles...
Once I was under my T/A which was was up on stands. Had both hands/arms up inside trying to get a socket on #8 plug when my ratchet slipped and arced against the wrong posts on the starter which turned the motor over.
Pure luck had the tranny in neutral and so I'm still alive to tell the tale.
