I have attached some wiring I found on the internet. Worked well with my 2004 Tahoe donor trans. I used for Neutral Switch/Ign kill as my column didn't have it. It does do reverse lights too but didn't use it for that.

If I had time, I would like wire up something to the door locks that would lock the doors in drive and open in park. Maybe when I retire and have more time on my hands. (yeah right)
Trust me, I "retired" three years ago and now have so much to do I want to go get a job so I can have weekends off....haha...

My favorite saying now id "You want it by when....hahahaha"
