New rear axle acquired! It's a 02 Chevy 14-bolt factory disk brake axle
It has 4.10 gears and an open diff, but the 14-bolts have tons of traction aid options including fairly cheap and simple detroit locker upgrades.
unfortunately it's raining today and my lack of roof means that I can't work on it this weekend.
